And so to home… via a brewpub, naturally!

An earlyish breakfast saw us off to fill up with some presents & fuel at the local supermarket before heading back to the Chunnel.

Whilst, in some ways, we’d not added as much to the tale of “The Men in the Shed” on this trip, we had, perhaps, found additional avenues to follow-up & the times spent in Peter & Eain’s company & also the day with Bill Sullivan were wonderful & well worth thr trip, alone.

White Horse (1)A review of the map & the Good Beer Guide saw us heading to the White Horse, brewery tap of the Brentwood Brewery Unfortunately, whilst there were 10 beers available, there was only one from the brewery, itself, which was slightly disappointing – especially as it was superb & our second pints (of different beers) were far less so… mind you, the food was nice!

Amd so ended another trip to Normandy… wonderful weather (largely), wonderful company & excellent food & drink… as Arnie said (sort of): We’ll be back!!
