Scott Willen, Gerald’s son has provided a number of interesting background articles regarding his father.

The first of these is a news report in the Sunday Camera for June 5th 1994 for their “Insight” section. It appears that it was written by Gerald Willen & submitted to the paper for publication, which they did on the eve of the 50th anniversary of D Day when he jumped into Normandy as part of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne.
